Instructions

To type directly with the computer keyboard:

• Type a=, e=, o=, u= for ā, ē, ō, ū
• Type = to add a diacritic: h=  t=  s=  for   ḥ   ṭ   ṣ
• Type e== for ĕ
• Type < and > for ʿ and ʾ
• Type s==  (or ^s ) for š
